This school is served by a dedicated, active and progressive parents and citizens association whose office bearers are elected at the annual general meeting every February. Membership is open to all parents and interested citizens.
The associations aims are:
- To improve educational facilities by the provision of additional materials and equipment not supplied by the Department of Education (DoE) Queensland.
- To assist the principal and staff, foster parent/teacher co-operation and to encourage local interest in educational matters.
The Coppabella parents and citizens association generally meets once a term on a Wednesday evening from 5pm at the school. This meeting is of a general nature and usually concludes by 6.30pm. At least a week’s notice is given prior to the holding of the meeting. If you have an agenda item it must be placed on the agenda form located on the school noticeboard.
